Our Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Payment

  • Payment Requirement: A booking is not confirmed until payment has been received.
  • Booking Process: Customers will be redirected to Stripe to complete payment and will be returned to NannyP.ca for a booking confirmation.
  • Incomplete Bookings: Submitting a booking request without payment does not secure a service provider.
  • 2. Overtime Charges

    • Unscheduled Overtime: If our service provider is not relieved of their duties by the agreed-upon end time, the service will extend into the next hour.
    • Full-Hour Billing: Customers will be charged for a full additional hour, regardless of whether they use only a portion of it.
    • Overtime Rates:
        • On-call nannying/babysitting: $30/hour 
        • Cleaning: $38/hour
        • Senior support: $35/hour
    • Chargeback Agreement: Customers agree not to dispute or charge back overtime fees.

    3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

    • 72+ Hours Notice: 100% credit for future booking of the same duration.
    • 48-72 Hours Notice: 50% credit for future booking; the remaining 50% is forfeited.
    • Less Than 48 Hours Notice: No refunds or credits.
    • Expiration of Credits: Credits expire after 12 months.
    • Dispute Consequences: If a customer initiates a chargeback on a retained cancellation fee, we reserve the right to refuse future service.

    4. Payment Information Storage and Future Charges

  • Storage of Payment Details: By booking, customers consent to having their payment information stored in Stripe.
  • Automatic Charges: Customers agree that their stored payment method may be charged for overtime fees or additional charges related to their booking.
  • Removal of Payment Information: Customers may request to remove their payment information at any time. However, if they have an active booking, removal will result in cancellation without refund.
  • Future Bookings: For repeat services booked in writing, customers agree that we may automatically charge their stored payment method for future appointments.
  • 5. Service Limitations

    • Right to Refuse Service: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates these terms.

    6. Updates to These Terms

    We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
