Meet Poonam - Owner & Founder
Hi there! I'm Poonam, the founder of Nanny P, a company inspired by the struggles I saw families face when trying to find reliable nannies. With 17 years of experience as an early childcare educator, I previously owned and operated my own daycare center, Ohana, which means "family" in Hawaiian.
Nanny P started as a passion project to offer families the convenience, quality, and flexibility they need. Our drop-in nanny service is designed to provide reliable care on an as-needed basis, ensuring that your family's needs are always met.
At Nanny P, we're a dedicated and passionate group of individuals committed to serving your family. Family has always been a cornerstone of my life, and I strive to reflect that in our services. We aim for our nannies, cleaners, and senior support staff to feel like an extension of your family.
"When we have each other, we have everything."

Elizabeth
Hi! I’m Elizabeth. I was born in Vancouver and now reside in Burnaby. My parents are from Nicaragua and came to Canada in 1994, making me fluent in both English and Spanish. Growing up in a large family, I was always surrounded by children, which sparked my passion for working in childcare and continues to inspire me today.
I’ve been an Early Childhood Educator since 2022, and I’ve also actively volunteered at my church’s childcare center and worked part-time as a nanny. I’ve gained valuable experience in adapting to the needs of children aged 18 months to 5 years, providing attentive and compassionate care. My knowledge, along with my Responsible Adult and First Aid certifications, helps me ensure children’s safety and well-being.
I am eager to foster an environment that nurtures children’s independence, self-expression, critical thinking, and creativity. I’ll be there to support their learning and growth as they reach important milestones in their development. I look forward to joining you and your child on this journey!

Pawan
Hi! I'm Pawanjot Mundi, but you can call me Pawan. I was born in Punjab, India in 1997. I had a wonderful childhood there, and I believe that remembering how it feels to be a child helps me connect better with the kids I work with. I'm a bit of a fidget and love to travel!
I moved to Surrey in December 2017 and completed my studies in early childhood education at Sprott Shaw College. I've been working as an Early Childhood Educator teacher for the past 4.5 years and am currently a manager at a childcare centre. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with children and engaging them in fun activities like art, storytime, and both indoor and outdoor play.
I speak Punjabi, Hindi, and English, and I love working with families from diverse backgrounds. I'm open-minded, responsible, and warm-hearted, and I absolutely love working with children.
I'm excited to be a part of the Nanny P team, as it gives me the possibility to achieve my goals and dreams. I look forward to being a part of your family's journey!
