Family Nanny Needed (New Westminster)

Job Details:

A busy family of 4 in New Westminster is looking for a caring and reliable nanny to care for two children (ages 7 and 5) and help with light household tasks.

• Location: New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada
• Start Date: ASAP, but the family is willing to wait for the right fit.
• Hours: Minimum of 16 hours per week.
• Shift: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (minimum of 4 hours per day).
• Required availability: 3pm to 7pm each day. Occasional later evenings until 8 or 9pm if available.
• Pay: $22/hr (minimum of $352 per week)

Responsibilities:

• Picking the kids up from school at 3pm and walking them home.
• Taking the friendly family dog outside for a quick walk.
• Preparing snacks and tidying up the kitchen.
• Helping the kids with reading, writing, or playing.
• Tidying up the kids’ room if needed.

The Ideal Nanny:

• You are naturally patient, punctual and enjoy spending time with children.
• You understand that consistency and reliability are key, as both parents have busy schedules.
• Someone who is comfortable being around the friendly family dog during the shift.
• Must have childcare experience, first aid certification, and clear criminal record check.
